BREST, France. 28th June - 1st July 2011: Europole Mer invites scientists, managers of RIs and stakeholders to discuss scientific challenges faced by RIs with particular emphasys on the marine sector. Here is the link to the symposium site.

A Motion for a European Parliament Resolution calls for an effort by the Commission to "support efforts to quickly and efficiently realise the SIOS and EMSO observatories as unique contributions to better understanding and protecting the Arctic environment".
